Barkuma is an organisation committed to quality and was one of the first disability service organisations in South Australia to achieve certification under the ISO 9001:2000 quality standard.

Barkuma is also commited to the privacy of personal information about individuals by responding to the 10 National Privacy Principles in the Privacy Amendment Act 2000, dealing with the collection, use, disclosure and data security of personal information.
